Hi, Purr here again with a new speedrun of the horror game Alien: Isolation (2014)! For starters, I picked a fairly “simple” and short category — Any% using CC Only. According to the rules, you aren’t allowed to change FPS during the run, and the main glitch is crouch clipping. The difficulty is the basic Novice mode.

Overall, the run turned out to be really interesting: there are some pretty cool glitches, a couple of RNG moments, but with practice you can learn to react to almost any situation — not always perfectly, but still. For now, I’ve only done a few attempts, and my current PB uses pretty outdated strats. But I’m continuing to improve my time and aiming for a higher spot on the leaderboard.
